The management of water in commercial buildings is a two-fold process, encompassing both ductwork and cooling systems. The primary objective is to maintain unobstructed waterways.
The piping system is designed for straightforward drainage, and the pipes are susceptible to changes in water quality and the composition of the pipes themselves. Iron pipes are prone to corrosion, hard water causes scale deposits, and there are numerous bacteria and algae in the water, which produce biofilms and have implications for public health.
Cooling circulation systems are designed to continuously recycle the same water, using heat exchangers to remove waste heat from the system. During the circulation process, a portion of the water evaporates, resulting in the accumulation of salt. Despite the regular replenishment of water, the risk of scale and rust formation in the pipes of the hydronic cooling system remains.
TETRADOM quantum devices are designed to prevent and solve this problem.
CASE 1.
Commercial Building

The main issues that need to be addressed are as follows:
The total circulation is 200 tons.
The daily lotion production is: The quantity is approximately 7-8 tons.
The water source is city tap water.
The water treatment method employed is a chemical one.
Chemical methods should be employed to address issues such as rust, corrosion, bacteria, and algae in the cooling circulating water system. The expense of chemicals, manual maintenance and drainage fees is considerable, the results are not optimal and the heat exchange efficiency is low.
We would like to propose a solution to this problem.

Please install two WR-H 10125 quantum rings in front of the condenser of the water-cooling unit, two WR-H 10125 quantum rings in the air-conditioning chilled water system, and one WR-H101451 quantum ring in the heating system of the thermal station.
Effect of Use：
The installation took 6-10 months, and no chemicals were added during this period.

Business Apartment

The main issues that need to be addressed are as follows:
This is a high-end, foreign-related business apartment. The building comprises 25 floors in total. The water supply for customer rooms is provided by a variable frequency pump for high-floor water supply. Galvanised pipes are mainly used. After eight years of operation, the pipes and equipment have shown signs of corrosion, particularly on the inner walls. The bathtubs and kitchen faucets in the apartments have experienced discolouration and sedimentation. Sand and reddish brown rust stains are evident in the pipes of the boiler water piping system.
Installation:
Please install one WR-I 10120 quantum ring and two WR-H10135 quantum rings on the corresponding pipes in the low-floor and high-floor areas of the water supply system.
Effect of Use：
In accordance with the customer’s specifications, we conducted on-site assessments of the water quality in the apartment rooms, employing a comparative methodology.
Within a period of less than two months following the installation, there was no discernible red water observed exiting the bathtub and kitchen faucets, and the water quality was observed to be clear. The reddish-brown rust stains in the boiler water piping system have been successfully removed. There have been no further customer complaints related to this issue.
